  Obit: Menominee County Journal August 29, 1930 Daggett Pioneer Mother Summoned Mrs Anna Tessmer, nee Prill, 72, passed away at her home farm inDaggett township on Thursday morning at 6:45 o'clock. Dropsy beingthe cause of her demise. Mrs Tessmer was born in Morachin, Posen, Germany, on the 15th ofFebruary, 1858. On April 5th, 1884 she came to America and located atSheboygan, Wi. Six months later she moved on her present farm whereshe resided permanently until death called her. In 1877, at the age of 19, she married Fred Tessmer in Germany whopreceded her death 23 years ago. Ten children were born to the union,three sons and seven daughters: Emil, Herman, Ernest, Emma, Gusta,Mary, Ida, Amanda, Anna and Martha. Ernest and Martha died in infancyand Mrs Emma Baumler died four years ago. Those mourning her lossare: Herman of Iron Mountain; Emil, Daggett; Mrs Ida Baumler, IronMountain; Mrs Anna Newbauer, Milwaukee; and one sister Mrs JuliusEhrenberg, Escanaba and 29 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12 o'clock at the farmhome and at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Church. Services in bothEnglish and German, the Rev. H Hopp will officiate. Interment will bein the family lot in the Stephenson Cemetery.
